Management Responsibilities:
Handle all Human Resource duties including Hiring, Disciplinary, Dismissal of Employees.
Day to day administration training of all new employees
Review and monitor current employees in regards to following the protocols of the practices\
Interview, authorize and process new hires, terminations, and all human resources functions.
Facilitate the appointments and promotion process of current and new employees.
Business development of programs and services for all Dental Practice locations.
Maintain oversight of all regulatory compliances with regard to clinical and educational activities
Assist in business development for new training programs.
Learn and follow each position in the practice for training purposes only.
Attend each department monthly training meetings and give feedback where needed.
Financial Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer budgets, expenses for Employee salaries, training materials, supplies and/or CE courses.
Review monthly progress reports and implement corrective actions as needed
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Experience in the Healthcare field, preferably in Dentistry as a business manager, or Human Resource position. A.A. or B.A. in Business Administration or compatible area
Work Experience:
* A minimum of five years related work experience in health care, preferably in Dentistry.
* Relevant experience in healthcare, particularly an academic center.
* Experience in using computerized information systems.
Preferred Characteristics:
The ideal candidate must have proven management ability including strong interpersonal and communication skills. Individual must possess strong leadership, management, organizational, analytical, negotiation and conflict management skills. Individual must have the ability to provide innovative leadership in a dynamic environment and be able to work collaboratively with multiple constituents. Also required is a hands-on approach to operations and management as well as the ability to keep strategic initiatives in focus. Balance between ability to see the big picture and work at the detail level.
