Area Sales Representative Job Opening in New Orleans, Louisiana - SUMMARY iDrive Logistics is looking for an Area Sales Representative contractor who can leverage their professional (or personal) relationships to make introductions for iDrive and help close deals in the logistics consulting and technology industry. iDrive helps companies that ship products reduce and optimize their transportation expenses.
Examples of companies with whom we are interested in speaking are:
Retail chains
e-commerce/e-retail
Manufacturers
Wholesale distributors
Direct sales organizations (MLMs)
Fulfillment companies
Private equity groups with a strong shipping portfolio
at these companies typically hold the following titles:
C-Suite: COO, CFO, and sometimes Presidents and CEOs
VPs, Directors & Managers of Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Distribution, Operations
Procurement: Supply Chain, Contracts and others
*Happy with your current career? Not a problem. It is common for our contractors to hold full-time positions elsewhere, and refer their connections to us on the side to take advantage of our large and generous commission structure.
RESPONSIBILITIES Work with iDrives President and VP of Marketing to develop a strategy for setting appointments with qualified prospects within your network. Facilitate meetings and introductions between iDrives subject matter experts and your prospects. Help close deals.
QUALIFICATIONS Preferably a demonstrated history of success in closing deals and forming partnerships through networking. This is a relationship-driven industry, and the most successful contractors are those with strong professional networks who are creative at getting in the door with prospects.
COMPENSATION Large commission structure. BMW Club for hitting revenue targets (Yes, we will pay for your new BMW). Annual, expenses-paid. Chairman's Club trip for meeting pre-defined sales goals (surprisingly easy to qualify).
TRAINING Comprehensive, on-going support and training provided to equip you with the supply chain expertise and knowledge you will need to be successful.
