Office Manager Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - Silver Property Group is a full service Real Estate office located on the far North Side of Chicago (5773 N. Lincoln Ave) seeking a Full-Time Office Manager. This job is not just an answer the door, open mail, and scan job. Exciting atmosphere with a lot going on.... Real Estate Management, Leasing, Brokerage, Legal work, and Construction professionals in office. Always something to do and learn. Administrative HR duties and executive assistant skills needed as well. Opportunity to use or develop social media talent. Silver is a casual (dress & attitude) atmosphere. We strive to be a comfortable place to work. Silver continues to grow and has anywhere from 10-30 affiliated professionals coming through the office on any given day.
Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience. We are looking for a conscientious, organized hard worker, with great people skills, who takes initiative, and is low drama with a can-do positive attitude. We want a team player / team leader who also works well independently and can handle authority. Good pleasant attitude and trust worthiness goes a long way.

Responsibilities:
Take charge of the physical office demands, such as coordinating maintenance, security systems and wifi, etc. Greet visitors, tenants, contractors, etc. Open and distribute mail. Assist owners as needed including office calendar management. Prepare for special owner meetings. Arrange couriers if needed. Make catering arrangements for staff meetings and office events. Provide administrative support to staff and management team. Data entry if needed. Maintain and order office supplies and stock refrigerator. Maintain (and coordinate with suppliers) office equipment (i.e., copier, shredder) Coordinate with cleaning company and building maintenance. Assist Accounting Department. Potential Internet research for management. Keep track of employee PTO. Assist Silver's owners in an executive assistant role. Participate in special projects. Assist with Heating Disclosures, Apartment Utility Management. Employee Relations/Paper Management including maintaining confidentiality and helping manage internal staff relations. Additional duties as needed. As stated above- lots to do and opportunity to make the job your own. IN CHARGE of DAY to DAY Operations.
