Lavu, Inc. is looking to hire a Senior Accountant that will be an integral part of our growing, creative team. This ideal candidate will be highly analytical and able to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to manage and deliver multiple priorities is a must, along with strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
Integral knowledge of bookkeeping, assisting with month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals and month-end account reconciliation, including bank and credit card accounts and ensure proper month end cutoff.
On demand reporting, including performing budget vs. actual account analyses and presenting findings to senior management and board of directors.
Prepare quarterly reviews and support corresponding year-end audit schedules.
Responsible for partnering closely with the systems teams and technical product managers to ensure that monthly activity is appropriately captured and accounted for in our financial statements.
Create systems enhancements and implementations such as a C-suite dashboard collecting churn, MRR, ARR.
Research technical topics in revenue accounting and advise product and legal teams on accounting implications of new product offerings.
Continuously improve business processes, systems, and documentation.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor?s degree in accounting or finance, CPA a plus
2+ years of big firm accounting experience
Previous role(s) should include audit, GL accounting, or revenue accounting
Experience with SaaS.
Strong interest in technology / knowledge of the industry
Tech savvy, strong at excel
Federal/State Income Tax, or GRT experience a plus.
