Corporate Accounting Manager Job Opening in Exton, Pennsylvania - Hankin Group, a real estate development, construction and property management company located in Exton, PA has an immediate opening for a Corporate Accounting Manager with 7-10 years of experience. Responsibilities for this position includes:
Work with Project Mangers to develop consistency in basic processes and procedures including related reporting; Project Construction vs Tenant Improvements
Develop a timely Construction workflow for cash forecasting and budget reallocations
Develop process for setting up and locking down the original construction budget
Document and implement the procedures for Change Orders ? Owner and Tenant
External construction billing preparation and review
Monthly Job Cost review and analysis
Monthly detailed Income and COS analysis for external jobs
Monthly analytics and trend review of assigned entities
Cross train in Residential, Construction and Commercial Accounting
Assist as needed with annual budgets for assigned entities including review
Demonstrate a thorough financial knowledge of assigned entities
Perform regular accounting functions including journal entries and bank reconciliations
Prepare and review Quarterly and Year-end Workpapers
Project depreciation with mid-year and year-end reconciliations
Preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns including extensions and quarterly payments.
Facilitate the flow of information between Hankin and external Accountant\Tax Preparers
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting
Public Accounting Experience
CPA with tax experience
Construction Accounting and/or Real Estate experience
Experience with integrated accounting systems (experience with Yardi and Lacerte a plus)
High level Excel skills ? pivot tables, sumif and vlookup
Proven ability to analyze financial data, prepare financial reports and projections
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time to produce quality results timely while simultaneously managing several projects
Self-starter and team player
Ability to apply strong problem-solving techniques
