We have a exciting opportunity to join our team as the Senior Tax Accountant reporting to the Tax Director.
ABOUT THIS JOB: Looking for a highly-motivated individual ready for a new opportunity with an entrepreneurial company. Candidate will join a collaborative team in a flexible work environment. Looking for an energetic self-starter able to succeed in a nontraditional setting.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in planning and executing federal and multi-state tax engagements for partnerships and corporations.
Assist in resolving tax controversy matters.
Identify and research tax issues.
Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Assist with special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
Minimum of three (3) years of federal and state income tax preparation experience in public accounting.
Active CPA license is preferred.
Experience with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and monitor deadlines.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with other departments.
Proactive, organized, resourceful and detailed-oriented.
