Sales Representative/Media Job Opening in Miami, Florida - INK , the leading global inflight magazine publisher, with such titles as American Way, Nexos, Celebrated Living, Hemispheres and Rhapsody, is seeking a Sales Representative to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team in Miami. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving company revenue through magazine advertising sales in their assigned territory. Our sales representatives manage the entire sales from initial contact to completion. These are exciting and highly rewarding roles for the right individuals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Sell magazine advertising by talking to buyers, C-Level executives and key decision makers on a daily basis
Actively identify and source prospective clients to maintain a robust pipeline of business leads
Conduct cold calls, engage prospects and follow up on sales opportunities
Create and drive territory growth strategies to meet and exceed performance metrics
Negotiate sales agreements and payment terms in accordance with company parameters
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and changing territory demographics
Prepare sales presentations and coordinate closing agreements
Serve as main point of contact addressing client/prospect questions and concerns
Requirements
1+ years sales experience preferred
Some college preferred
Account management and industry networking experience an advantage but not essential
Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
Ability to focus and thrive in high-pressure conditions
Tenacious, persistent and resilient.
Motivated and able to work in a close team environment
Committed to meeting and exceeding personal sales performance expectations
Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently
Some travel and face-to-face sales may be required
Innovative quick thinker with an unwavering passion for knowledge and growth
