TERRITORY SALES ENGINEER ? INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRO... Job Opening in Miami, Florida - Premier regional manufacturer?s representative firm, specializing in products related to industrial and shipboard automation and motor control systems and power distribution systems, is looking for a senior sales engineer to cover our South FL territory, which includes Naples, Ft Myers, and the greater Miami metropolitan area. Our market includes primarily domestic (not international) Tier 1, 2, and 3 OEM accounts, major end users, engineering consultants, power generation and distribution companies, shipyards, and electrical distributors. We offer superior solutions to meet complex industrial requirements and we strive to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction in every area of our business.
The primary responsibility of the Territory Sales Engineer will be to increase market share for our top flight product portfolio. Success in this position will come from expanding business with existing clients and from penetrating new accounts. A demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships with industrial clients is required.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the necessary abilities to progress to partner level within a few years. The person who fills this position will need to live in South FL.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor?s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
PE registration a plus
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Experience selling Variable Speed Drives in Low and Medium Voltage applications
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience selling to the top management/C-level of manufacturing and process companies
Significant experience with complex sales cycles that include multiple iterations of engineering or management approvals
Must be highly motivated and results-oriented
Strong interpersonal and collaborative sales skills
Ability to establish key customer relationships and achieve sales and revenue goals
Outstanding oral and written skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to use CRM tools to evaluate performance metrics and generate revenue
