Opportunity Overview & Responsibilities
Our client has an immediate need for an enthusiastic Controls Engineer to support continued growth and complete strategic project initiatives for their customers. This rewarding role will provide an opportunity to create electrical equipment designs, component sourcing, project quoting, programming, testing, installing, startup and servicing of machinery and/or system integration projects Work within a team of mechanical and electrical engineers to creatively solve manufacturing problems occurring with clientele. Additional responsibilities are as follows:
PLC programming
HMI and electrical panel design
Manage detailed documentation and electrical drawings
Remote troubleshooting with clients
Research new technologies and applicable components
Network set up and troubleshooting (i.e. Ethernet)
AC drive/servo setup and parameterization
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Proficiency with Allen Bradley Studio5000, RSLogix 5000
Languages: LadderLogic, Function Block, and Structured Text
HMI software such as Rockwell Factory Talk SE and ME
Drive/servo experience Yaskawa, A-B, SEW, etc.
Ideal Qualifications
OEM Experience
Hybrid database/software engineering
PLC/HMI programming from scratch
Experience with eWON VPN technology
