Building Maintenance Technician Job Opening in Boise, Idaho - The Terraces of Boise is an exceptional premiere retirement community. Our Maintenance Technicians maintain all buildings and are responsible for carrying out maintenance work orders per the needs of our residents and to keep the community in good repair and a safe and comfortable environment, within compliance of federal, state and local codes.
Our maintenance team has a unique role, in that they provide services to senior adults that help ensure they may enjoy a "maintenance free" lifestyle in their homes.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions include:
Completion of general maintenance work orders assigned within specified due dates.
Trouble-shooting repairs on equipment such as residential appliances, heating/cooling devices, water systems/plumbing, devices, safety & alarm systems, and ventilation systems.
Assists with all preventive maintenance initiatives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Routine tasks include assisting new residents with setting up their new home; picture hanging, installing light fixtures, paint touch-ups, etc.
Will also assist with event set up/breakdown and moving or furnishings upon request.
Ensures apartment and healthcare rooms are turned over in a timely manner for new occupancy.
** Available weekly shift: Sunday through Thursday 8am to 5pm
