Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant Job Opening in Miami, Florida - We are an accounting firm seeking an experienced bookkeeper with a happy-go-lucky, team player, can-do attitude. Candidate will be handling systematized bookkeeping, answer phones and direct clients. Bookkeeping is scheduled so tasks don't interfere with one another. We wouldn't want the bookkeeper to have to answer the phone and do bookkeeping at the same time : )
Requirements:
VERY PROFICIENT QB and QBO capabilities
1+ years experience in accounting firm
Proficiency Excel and Word
Highly organized and detail oriented
Excellent typing skills
Bilingual in Spanish/English
Excellent, no- SUPERIOR communication skills
Ability to manage large amounts of data in organized fashion
Ability to work under strict time-lines
Organized and Punctual
Courteous professional attitude
Self-motivated individual and the ability to work independently
Ability to multitask solve problems
Ability to file timely reports
Key Responsibilities:
Maintains and balances general ledger.
Billing, A/R, A/P, and Collections.
Enter data, maintain records and financial statements.
Identifies, research, and reconciles any discrepancies
Builds reports for business owner
Filing, copying, mailing, office duties
Manage books in accounting software
Other related accounting tasks
Other administrative tasks
