Accounting Clerk Job Opening in Tampa, Florida - Are you a self-motivated individual who has the ability to pay close attention to detail and has accounting and accounts payable experience? If so, we have a position for you! We are conducting a search for an Accounting Clerk to join the team of one of Tampa Bay?s premier employers. Our client is located near downtown Clearwater. This is a temp-to-perm assignment, working 40 hours a week with overtime potential! Reference, drug test, and background check, to include a credit check will be required.
Accounting Clerk Specialist Job Duties:
Primarily responsible for all Accounts Payable functions
Confirm all invoices are approved and correct GL coding assigned
Communicate with various departments and vendors
Enter invoices into system
Process check runs
Process all bank deposits
Assist with general accounting duties
Special projects, as needed
Accounting Clerk :
Associate?s Degree in Accounting preferred
3+ years of accounts payable and general accounting experience
QuickBooks, Yardi Voyager, and Real Page experience a strong plus
Team player willing to learn new tasks
Solid critical thinking and analysis and attention to detail
Superb communications skills required
