Sales Director Job Opening in Houston, Texas - Role and Responsibilities
The Sales Director maintains a solid sales team of six Sales Associates through interviewing, hiring and training quality candidates
The Sales Director provides direct leadership to the six Sales Associates and one Sales Coordinator with a goal of securing from faith-based organizations a commitment to pursue Scouting as a youth ministry or community outreach; includes:
Preparing for and holding weekly sales meetings to provide information, instruction and inspiration
Preparing for and holding bi-weekly checkpoints with each associate in their own territory to provide one-on-one evaluation, coaching and accountability
Riding along with the Sales Associates on high-value appointments and/or training opportunities
The Sales Director maintains a pulse on the Salesforce CRM (customer relations management) and analyzes the data for gaps and shortfalls in the overall team
The Sales Director facilitates communication between the Field Executives and the Sales Associates to ensure proper teamwork and customer service
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Sales Director must have experience in managing a sales team, adapting to major organizational change, interacting with diverse people, interacting with both internal and external customers, and working in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor?s degree preferred with 5+ years in a selling environment, and 2+ years managing personnel
