Executive Director Job Opening in Idaho Falls, Idaho - Position Summary: The Executive Director manages the daily operations of The Center for HOPE and coordinates recovery support services in Bonneville County and surrounding areas. In addition the ED is responsible for grant writing, community outreach, budget maintenance, program development and oversight. The Executive Director will also work with the Board of Directors to formulate policy and oversee fundraising for The Center for HOPE.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in Human Services, behavioral health or related field desired or two years? experience working in the substance use or mental health field.
Minimum of two years of successful and progressive experience in service/program delivery with a nonprofit organization.
Minimum of two years in a capacity. (preferred but not required)
Training background.
Cross-cultural skills, and experience with culturally diverse populations.
Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including, Word and Excel.
Person in Recovery preferred but not required
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily operations of The Center for HOPE, Inc.
Provide individual (one-on-one) support, system navigation for recoverees and their families, provide resources, referrals, answer phone calls and handle requests for assistance.
Oversees the provision of peer recovery support services development, coordination, implementation and management at local level.
Ensures that Telephone Recovery Support operates efficiently at The Center for HOPE.
Customer service skills and public relations.
Supervises the Volunteer Coordinator.
Builds the local support service network through personal meetings, presentations, membership, speaking engagements and other activities.
Assists and coordinates with the Volunteer Coordinator to schedule and implement recovery trainings and events in accordance with established requirements.
Maintains data as required by the grant, writes reports and keeps pertinent and accurate records. Updating and ultimately expanding The Center?s consumer database to track all pertinent information. Maintains consumer records in a confidential manner. Volunteer hours recorded in a timely manner.
Fundraising.
Works with the and Finance Committee to develop a budget and long term financial plan, and to provide proper and timely financial reports, budgets and arrange for audit compliance.
Conducts regular staff meetings; supervising staff, interns and volunteers. Performs annual evaluations for all staff members.

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 /hour
