Accounts Payable Clerk Job Opening in Richmond, Virginia - Main Street Realty is looking for a detail oriented Accounts Payable clerk for the Richmond area. Ideal candidates will be professional, proactive, friendly and organized. Attention to detail, the ability to prioritize work and the ability to multitask is a must. Some responsibilities of an Accounts Payable professional will include but are not limited to:
Code invoices and enter for payment
Providing superior customer service to all prospects, residents, vendors and visitors
Following up on invoices and resolving issues before they become past due
Assist with month-end cut off and accounting
Sorting and preparing mail
Reviewing vendor information and printing 1099 at year?s end
Maintaining spreadsheets
Performing other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the Accounting Department
Weekly preparation and processing of checks to mail to vendors
Qualifications: Data Entry or Bookkeeping experience preferred. 0-1 year Accounts payable preferred. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) a must.
Normal Work Schedule: 5 days per week (40 hours) Monday thru Friday.
