Staff Accountant Job Opening in Williamsburg, Virginia - Haag & Hill, P.C. is a progressive local, public accounting firm that provides quality services to our clients. We are currently seeking a tax/accounting oriented Staff Accountant.
Our staff uses the latest technology and resources to serve businesses, individuals, not-for-profit organizations, and commercial enterprises in the Williamsburg area.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to actively become a major part of our Firm's continued success. There is excellent partnership potential for the qualified candidate.
Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will provide accounting/tax services to a variety of clients including individuals, small businesses, nonprofit organizations, trusts and estates.
Prepares necessary working papers.
Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor, reflective of the Firm, at all times.
Must conform to a team approach in performance of their duties.
Requirements:
CPA Certification or progress toward desired.
BS in Accounting from an accredited university required.
2+ years of current experience in public accounting- specifically reviews and compilations.
Thorough knowledge of the tax process.
Superb verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent MS Office experience.
Knowledge of Accounting and Tax Software systems.
