Sales Manager Job Opening in Kansas City, Kansas - Essential Duties & Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Strengthen and improve Domestic & International markets and market shares.
Sales forecasting for budgeting and S&OP planning.
Develop the detail planning and execution of tactical goals to strengthen Duoline spec position in the international market.
Know the plans and needs of key international accounts and actively take steps to ensure that we are the specified product.
Resolve questions from key customer decision makers, manufacturing reps, specifiers, distributors and contractors.
Compliment manufacturing reps with assistance in installation training,
effective promotion of products, quality audits and specific plans to achieve
Specific goals.
Assist marketing team in execution of corporate marketing strategy plans, including training, testing, qualification & roll-out of new products, services, or new manufacturing sites and processes, trade shows and seminars and technical paper presentations.
Assist with pricing, quotations and follow-up with influencing agents and end users on project business.
Keep abreast of all DUOLINE product & services, competitors
Connection technology, industry developments and changes.
Reinforce product value points with manufacturing reps, specifiers, contractors and distributors.
Maintain relationships with key trade organizations (SPE, API, NACE, etc.)
Arrange and conduct Lunch & Learn Seminars with existing & potential customers.
All Department processes and procedures documented and the appropriate individual(s) trained and cross-trained as necessary.
Responsible for identification, documentation, segregation, evaluation, and disposition of non-conforming products, services, or systems.
Responsible for adherence and knowledge of all ISO processes, procedures, flowcharts, and quality policy.
Other Functions:
Other duties and projects as directed by management.
General Requirements:
Closure on end-user initiatives & qualification programs.
Develop product sales in new int?l territories.
Operating Profit to Budget. Budget Conformance.
First Time First Pass ISO Audit
100% Resolved or Active in-process status of all non-conformance items.
100% Self Managed Performance (SMP) participation and engagement and program implementation self initiated quarterly meetings with Supervisor and follow through on objectives and goals.
100% adherence to Company Policies and Procedures
Ability and willingness to travel as required for the needs of the business
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
BBS, or 10+ yrs combined technical & sales experience in oilfield Tubing, casing & proprietary connections or other relevant industry.
Valid Drivers License; good driving record.
Must be able to speak and read English.
Must be able to speak and understand Spanish.
Self-initiated and able to develop and execute action plans.
Excellent Verbal and Written Communications skills.
Strong Presentational and Negotiating skills
PC Software and database capabilities.
Excellent attendance reliability (work availability).
Location:
Applications accepted from other regions where there are oilfields and transport links to other states as this position involves extensive travel
