Quality Insights is actively searching for a Lean Manager. The Lean Manager will drive performance by building a culture of continuous improvement through the use of Lean tools and methodologies and will serve as Quality Insights' internal expert. The Lean Manager will play an instrumental role in the design, development, and delivery of the implementation of quality improvement methodologies throughout the organization. S/he will work with Quality Insights leaders, project teams, and departmental functions to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and drive results. The Lean Manager will help to identify and select processes, projects, and people to drive results in the application of Lean tools and methodologies. S/he will act as a Lean instructor, mentor, and coach and provides training to a wide range of personnel and stakeholders throughout the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and implement methodology to drive adoption of Lean tools and methods throughout the organization.
Work directly with project leaders and staff to infuse and implement Lean methodology, techniques, and tools into the appropriate projects and processes.
Train, mentor, and coach project teams, helping them to understand and apply Lean methodologies to gain efficiencies in and improve the quality of projects and processes.
Lead cross-functional project teams using Lean methodologies from inception to realization and control.
Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
Collect data to identify root cause of problems and measure performance against process requirements.
Integrate Lean and innovation methodologies and processes to identify and establish process improvement targets, foster innovative solutions to organizational shortcomings and inefficiencies, and meet the evolving needs of our clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure implementation and sustainment of Lean methodologies supports rather than detracts from successful completion of contract deliverables.
Develop integrated curriculum and versatile delivery methods to ensure that quality-related training is available to Quality Insights employees.
Remain current on external trends and quality technologies and how they may affect Quality Insights.
Measure and report on success of Lean implementation projects to the Executive Team, project leaders, and other Quality Insights' stakeholders.

Skills/Professional Competencies Required:
Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodology, tools, and process management
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability as a change-agent to influence, gain commitment, and earn credibility at all levels of the organization
Advanced communication and facilitation skills. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with executive team, project leaders, project team members, and stakeholders at all levels
Strong business acumen and excellent problem solving skills
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Proven project management skills
Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and report appropriate project measurement data
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a Business, Healthcare, or related field of study.
Minimum Experience Required:
A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, at least 3 of which are in leading cross-functional Lean projects. Successful experience managing projects using Quality tools (Lean and/or Six Sigma) with a proven track record of achieving results.
Requirements:
Lean/Six Sigma certification - Black Belt is strongly preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
