Bilingual Retail Sales Merchandiser Job Opening in Petaluma, California - Job Description
Planning product display execution and preparing sales, tastings, stocks and merchandising plans of all assigned accounts in merchandiser?s area in conjunction with supplier(s) and distributor(s)
Liaising with key retail stores, suppliers and distributors
Working closely with visual-display staff department heads to decide how product should be displayed to maximize sales
Producing layout plans for stores
Forecasting and optimizing the display execution of designated product areas.
Controlling stock levels for displays based on forecasts for the seasons
Using computer software, to handle and track display execution, tastings, reporting
Analyzing every aspect of bestsellers and ensuring that they reach their full potential
Maintaining awareness of competitors? performance
Monitoring slow sellers and taking action to change accounts, reduce prices, or set promotions as necessary
Gathering information on customers? reactions to products
Analyzing the previous season?s sales and reporting in the current season?s lines
Collaborating with supplier(s) and distributor(s) managing display execution, display mix and point of sale agreeing timescales and delivery dates completing and arranging the necessary paperwork for POS delivery or pick up location(s)
Identifying difficulties and dealing with any problems or delays as they arise including product out of date or freshness issues
