Customer Support Specialist Job Opening in Franklin, Tennessee - This position is for our direct client. Our client is a pioneer for innovations leading the way in revenue cycle management, identity management, patient engagement, and care management for hospitals, physician groups, labs, pharmacies and other risk-bearing entities.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding Client Software support ? bugs, defects, malfunctions
Respond to routine and emergency support calls from clients, and support staff (i.e. trainers and programmers)
Adhere to departmental policies and escalation procedures
Assist with other various tasks for vendors, partners alike as needed
Communicate effectively with clients via telephone or email
Log and track all client related issues into Client Relationship Management tool (CRM) - Salesforce
Maintain proficient knowledge of all product and service changes
Assist with set up and testing on new or additional client?s accounts prior to go live
Qualifications
An associates or bachelor?s degree is preferred, but not required. 3-5 years? experience specific to Customer Support and Customer Service. (combination of experience and education may be taken in to consideration)
Physician/Hospital Billing, Insurance or Clearinghouse, Hospital Admitting or Business Office experience is helpful.
Excellent communication skills and ability to speak clearly with technical as well as non-technical clients is critical * Ability to work in a fast paced multi product support environment
Safeguarding sensitive patient health information (PHI) through HIPAA rules and regulations and PCI compliance measures related to collecting patient payments
Basic understanding of a revenue cycle within a healthcare environment is a plus
Familiarity with ERA and 835 remittance files and how they work a plus
Highly analytical, intensive research and reconciliation skills required
Supporting products running on standalone and integrated platforms
PC, Internet and Microsoft Office experience is a must
