Accounting Manager Job Opening in Greenville, South carolina - Assistant Controller
We are seeking an Assistant Controller for this growing company.
Lead the monthly closing process to ensure the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end consolidated financial statements
Prepare monthly journal entries, general ledger and intercompany accounts reconciliation
Work closely with the Controller in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Assist with the direction and the preparation of the external quarterly and annual audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
Implement & maintain accounting policies & procedures to ensure the highest level of efficiency and customer service while maintaining appropriate internal controls and compliance
Review various issues to ensure proper accounting treatment
Support VP of Finance and Senior Management with special projects
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelors degree in Accounting
CPA, or the desire to obtain the CPA, is preferred, but not required
Organizational skills and strong multi-tasking skills
Candidates must possess a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
