Intermediate Software Engineer Job Opening in Warren, Michigan - Title : Software Engineer II
Department : Industrial Applications
Reports to : Intermediate Software Engineer or Industrial Application Manager
Required Duties
The candidate must be able to work in a professional application development team-based environment. Industrial Applications is responsible for the development and roll-out of middle tier applications for the manufacturing and automotive automation processes. As a Software Engineer you will work closely with the other Controls Engineering groups to develop custom applications or modify existing systems.

Specific Responsibilities
The following lists are general responsibilities that may vary from customer to customer:
Application Development
Develop new products or enhance existing ones
Possess and continue to enhance knowledge of the Microsoft development stack, most importantly or C# as well as MVC.
Work in cross-functional teams to help with design, implementation, deployment and sustained customer support*

HSE Requirements
Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct
Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures
Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods
Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts
Report defect in any equipment or protective device
Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks
Attend all required health, safety and environmental training
Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma
Computer and automotive production related interests
3 years of Microsoft stack development in C# or or bachelor?s degree in computer science with 1 year of Microsoft stack experience.
Must be fluent with basic web-based technologies
