Job Description:
The role of Sales/Designer encompasses a variety of tasks to be completed in a timely and efficient manner. Sales/Designer is required to generate qualified sales by continuing communication with the existing customer base via calls and lumberyard/jobsite visits when necessary. Effectively communicate the correct solution/product for their needs and explain the benefits of that solution/product.
Qualifications:
Experience-
Office setting experience
Lumber/Construction sales experience
Construction jobsite experience
Truss drawing experience helpful
Construction management a plus
Education-
High school level
College level a plus
Skills-
Strong communication skills to confidently explain information and converse with customers/clients
Proficient math skills
Computer/Estimating ability
Some drafting skills preferred
Organizational skills to effectively process all paperwork/products
Self-confidence to take the initiative to approach potential customers/clients
