Air Techniques International (ATI), a division of Hamilton Associates, Inc., is the leading designer and manufacturer of air quality testing and monitoring products and services that fulfill our purpose of Protecting People, Products, and Critical Infrastructure . We serve markets that include biopharmaceutical manufacturing (cleanroom production), nuclear energy production, industrial hygiene, and military and counterterrorism applications including respirator mask testing and airborne bio-surveillance. We are the market leader in our more mature product lines, and we are a new entrant to some exciting new markets to be developed. Our business has global reach, with more than half of our sales outside the United States. But we are still a small company (about 40 employees) with significant room for growth and numerous opportunities for business expansion.

POSITION OVERVIEW
As ATI continues to grow, we are seeking a strategic leader to join ATI as the Director of Sales, Americas Region (North & South America) . This individual will be a part of our senior leadership team, alongside our President, Director of Engineering & Operations, Director of Marketing and Director of Sales, EMEA Region, working together to shape ATI?s strategic direction and drive the execution of its major initiatives. ATI is still a small company, so our senior leadership team is agile, willing to ?roll up their sleeves? to get things done, while also providing sound leadership and coaching to everyone on the ATI team.
Key strategic responsibilities include:
US Sales ? building the sales team in the US (direct sales and/or sales partner channels), directly working on and closing sales opportunities, and developing key account relationships.
Distributors in Latin America and Canada ? managing the ATI business relationship with distributors in Latin America and Canada, optimizing the channel mix (hiring/firing distributors), and driving their performance and growth.
Customer Service / Inside Sales ? managing the ATI Customer Service Manager, who in turn manages two Customer Service Representatives. Help develop and work with the team to continually improve the customer experience and the productivity and effectiveness of the group. Note: This team also has responsibilities to support orders and inquiries from Asian distributors and from our UK operation that manages the EMEA Region.
Sales Subject Matter Expertise ? development and continuous improvement of Sales processes and best practices for ATI; and help spread that knowledge throughout the company globally.
A ?seat at the table? on the ATI leadership team ? shaping strategy and supporting execution across a broad range of areas.
Leadership of the Americas sales and customer service team ? determining the right structure and skills mix, building the team, and coaching their development, behaviors, and performance.
P&L management ? manage and optimize the sales, gross margins, and operating budget in the Americas region to ensure annual profit targets are exceeded, and drive year?over?year growth.
Other ongoing responsibilities of the Director, Americas (and the Sales/Customer Service team) will include:
Customer support processes and continuous improvement.
Quoting and other sales?related processes.
Managing and developing the sales pipeline/funnel.
Tracking sales metrics to gain insights, optimize performance, and find growth or improvement opportunities.
Utilization of CRM tools and continuous improvement of customer experiences and internal sales operations efficiencies.
Managing key account relationships, sales partner relationships, and major opportunities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Well-qualified candidates will possess the following, skills, experience and traits:
Bachelor?s degree from an accredited university. MBA preferred.
Technical acumen required to understand the company?s products, markets, and applications.
10 years or more experience in B2B Sales, with demonstrated track record of successfully driving regional sales growth.
5 years or more experience in a management role, with strong capabilities to develop and lead people and teams.
Subject matter expertise in strategic and tactical/conceptual selling, including management of sales pipelines/funnels, identifying buyer types and decision?making influences / dynamics within customer accounts, preparing for and managing customer interactions, what information to give and get at what time in the sales process, when and how to get the order, and so on.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent project management skills.
Ability to travel as necessary.
