Job description:
The Technical Release Manager will be responsible for coordinating implementation activities that bring new software release/patch into int and prod environments. Ensure integrity of pre-prod and prod environments are protected and correct components are released by owning deployment schedules for environments. TRMs are central knowledge point of all integrations. Focus on coordinating integrated pieces from product deliverables that must come together to work as an integrated release package, solution, or release. Coordinate deployment milestones ensuring milestones are planned, managed, and come together in a timely manner. Group releases together based on efficiency, integrations, and compatibility as they are promoted.
Required skills:
This position will focused on Infrastructure. Experience in tools. 3 yrs experience in Oracle DB,IBM Mainframe Z (OS 1.x), Linux/Unix, Informatica Power Center and Exchange.
Understanding of SAN and NAS storage solutions.
3 years of experience as a Technical Release Manager
Experience managing implementations with many system
Software Development Lifecycle experience including waterfall, iterative, and agile
Excellent team player with team building skills
Excellent Communication Skills - verbal and written
Ability to work with all levels in the organization
Ability to understand architecture and integrations with Java based SOA
Build/Deployment process knowledge in Java applications
Change Mgmt process knowledge and tool experience (e.g. CA service desk, HP Service Mgr)
