Assistant Practice Manager Job Opening in Austin, Texas - We are currently hiring for an experienced Assistant Practice Manager to work with a large medical group in the South Austin area.
Job Duties:
- In charge of clinic flow, making sure that patients are getting in and getting out and doctors are not having to wait around
- Creates staff schedules
- Payroll administration and performance management
-Addressing escalated patient and employee issues and providing follow up when needed
- Participate in interviewing, selecting, and training new employees
- Monitoring employee attendance and punctuality
- Reviewing Physicians availability and schedules
- Creating reports on phone systems, recommending solutions to any problems that arise
-Obtain all patient satisfaction surveys, present recommendations for improvements to practice manager
-Assist with employee performance evaluations, resolve complaints with practice manager
-Compliance and investigative work, finding the root causes to problems within staff, patient complaints, processes, etc.
-Ability to correlate with practice coordinators at each location
-45 people on staff, spread out across all South locations
