Sales Manager Job Opening in Manchester, New hampshire - Sales Manager E&R Laundry and Dry Cleaners
Our Sales Manager is dedicated to pursue new business through growing sales in the industrial Laundry and Dry Cleaning market. E&R Laundry and Dry Cleaners is a world class, family owned and operated facility located in Manchester NH since 1921. You will provide a face to face presence to active accounts (Colleges, Universities, Prep schools and Summer Camps) as well as prospects in the Eastern US territory with a heavy focus on New England (NY, NJ, CT, MA, RI, NH, ME, VT). This is a Field based position with some overnight travel possible. Because our Sales Office being located in Manchester, New Hampshire we preferably someone who lives in Mass or New Hampshire area but able to travel within the above Sales Manager reports to the director of sales and accounts.
Field Appointments ? Customers (New, Existing). Focus accounts TBD.
Build deep business relationships with customers. Having relationships with multiple contacts in each account is vital to your success.
Develop a comprehensive knowledge of products and services offered to schools & camps, to offer support and solutions to any existing problems.
Plan your sales work strategically.
Follow up promptly on assigned sales leads to your team.
Daily Communication with the Director of Sales.
Gain knowledge of competing laundry facilities and suppliers.
Recognize the need to sell value / service and maintain profit margins.
Fully understand all company sales and credit policies and procedures through partnering with our customer service department.
Devote the necessary professional effort and positive attitude to operate efficiently and effectively with a minimum of supervision.
Maintain a clean, neat and professional appearance. Keep vehicle clean and neat and in good working condition.
Desired Skills and Experience
Preferred minimum level of education: Associates Degree.
Prior Management experience required, capable of managing and holding the team accountable for results.
Ability to develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues.
Minimum 3 years of field sales experience.
Prior Laundry / Dry Cleaning experience is a plus.
Prior business relationships with colleges, universities and prep schools in the New England market a plus.
Must be a hands-on individual with a competitive edge.
Must be open to extensive day travel and occasional overnight travel.
Self-sufficient and self-motivating.
Capable of closing the deal.
Excellent interpersonal and (verbal, written, & listening) skills.
Must be able to analyze and solve problems and to prioritize while focusing upon attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and technical skills. Extensive experience with WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT, MICROSOFT OFFICE as well as using CRM to manage the day to day pipeline.
