Vice President of Sales Job Opening in Hooksett, New hampshire - Bellavance Beverage Company is currently sourcing a high-performing, hands-on, dynamic Vice President of Sales in Hooksett, NH. This position is responsible for the entire 60+ person sales team, associated budgets and resources. The position is also responsible for developing and executing annual sales-related strategic objectives that enhance the Company?s competitive position, business performance and profitability. Additionally, this position has direct management and coaching responsibilities for team-leader level employees and indirect responsibility for all employees within the department. The position is a member of the management committee and reports to the President and General Manager. Must be able to perform each essential duty listed below.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage top-level category volume and revenue plan with management team
Develop, manage and track annual sales plans with each supplier to include volume budget, incentive budget and schedule, marketing budget and key initiatives and new brand launches
Translate annual plans into monthly performance objectives and KPI targets
Active evaluation and adaptation of sales objectives and KPIs
Manage sales spending budgets
Oversight of annual marketing plan and budget
Mentoring, coaching of team members and development of internal talent
Schedule and conduct effective sales communication meetings
Engaged participation in management team meetings
Sales analysis - opportunity and issue identification
Maintain regular schedule of retail trade calls and build key retail relationships
Establish and strengthen supplier relationships
Set high work standards and lead by example
Attend required out-of-market supplier meetings (4-6 per year)
Identify best practices from other and implement
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred
5-7+ years sales management experience preferably in the beer industry
Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in all forms of correspondence
Hands on ? assist w/ resets, merchandising, promos, etc
Strong organization, planning and analytical skills
Computer/technology proficiency (PC and Mac platforms)
Ability to represent our Company in a professional and positive manner
