The company, headed from San Francisco, employs 45 employees and more than 1000 technicians across the US.
We are searching for a Full TIme Bookkeeper / Accounting admin that is able to work at a fast pace directly with our VP of Finance.
3-5 years experience required. Experience working in the service industry or at an established startup.
The following experience is a MUST:
Proficient with Quickbooks software for daily invoice processing
Bank and shipping reconciliations as well as handling AP/AR
Proficient with Excel standard formulas
Ability to multitask and handle fast pace environment
will require strong organizational skills with above average accuracy
Strong communication skills; verbal & writing
Ability to learn and adapt to our custom admin system
Must work well independently.
Possess values of honesty, integrity and teamwork.
Duties:
invoices into QuickBooks in a timely manner.
Prepare weekly payments.
Process manual checks.
Ensure all payments, invoices and supporting documentation is archived, electronically.
Review A/P aging periodically and make any necessary invoice adjustments.
Reconcile vendor aging and month-end statements.
Maintain sub-contractor documentations.
Prepare monthly A/P closing and reconcile A/P sub-ledger.
Prepare 1099's and maintain W-9's.
Assist with Accounting related functions.
Produce other various miscellaneous reports, duties and special projects as needed.
Support Admin department.
Calculate and pay sales tax in states we serve
