Part-time Full Charge Bookkeeper Job Opening in Los Angeles, California - A small business in Los Angeles near Culver City is seeking to hire a Bookkeeper. Looking for self-motivated, honest, upbeat, accurate, detail oriented and friendly professional person, organized, fast learner and thorough with analytical and follow up skills
Job functions include but not limited to:
Payment entries and reconciliation
Full Cycle Bookkeeping using QuickBooks , MS Office and other software applications
Do all A/R, A/P, Billing, Payroll plus all linked transactions and procedures
Create, process and maintain various Financial Reports
Other office, bookkeeping and related tasks as assigned
Accounts Payable will encompass the processing of all accounts payable transactions ensuring accuracy and proper classification and other AP functions as required
Accounts Receivable will encompass invoicing, aging reports, collection, with accuracy of posting and classification of the daily receivable transactions, posting payments, preparing deposit slips, and other AR functions as required
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of each day?s transactions
Tax filing, including weekly, quarterly, annual Payroll & other taxes
Reconcile monthly bank & credit card statements
General Ledger maintenance
Monthly financial reports for management, including but not limited to, P&L, BS, Cash Flow, etc.
Perform other general office duties as needed
Assist in all areas of operation as requested by management
Filing, both electronic & physical
Other tasks & functions as required and requested by managers or as the job demands
Requirements and Qualifications:
College graduate (BA or BS)
Strong written and verbal communication skills and solid bookkeeping skills are required
2-3 Years experience in bookkeeping with an academic background in either finance, accounting or business management
Excellent, highly proficient with QuickBooks software
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook)
Professional presentation and conduct
Must be responsible and self-managed
Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills
Must be detail oriented
The ability to work well with individuals with diverse background at all levels
Understanding of generally accepted accounting principals
Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience & skills
