Programmer / PHP Developer Job Opening in Wilmington, North carolina - We are recruiting a talented Programmer to join our organization. You will work with our team of developers, IT specialists and marketers to help build and maintain our WordPress plug-in and CRM. This is a full-time, staff position at our Wilmington, NC facility. We are looking for someone who is capable of thinking outside the proverbial box to solve problems and find ways to get the work done. While part of a team, this person must be able to work independently and efficiently.
We are seeking a PHP Developer / Programmer who will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript). The candidate should have a strong understanding of software development and deployment procedures. Familiarity with MLS, RETS, RESO, and the real estate industry is a plus. At least 3 years? experience with Linux Systems is required. Skills and Qualifications * Understanding of MySQL and NoSQL databases * Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) * Ability to learn and integrate third party "mashup" services * Proficient understanding of code versioning tools * Strong understanding of PHP back-end development * Demonstrable skill in Laravel or Code Igniter frameworks a huge plus. * 3 ? 5 years of professional web development experience required.
