Our mission as a Catholic book and gift store is to help our customers know and love God with all their heart, mind, body and soul, by providing products and services targeted to Catholics to help guide them on their spiritual journey.
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic part-time sales associates who exhibit passionate, friendly, helpful and extraordinary customer service to our customers. Associates are expected to perform the following tasks:
Engaging customers : Greeting customers in the store and helping them find the items that they are looking for. Assisting customers with finding complementary products that may help them with their buying decisions.
Cashiering: Helping customers with the checkout process and displaying a confident knowledge of handling cash and credit card transactions.
Store Operations: Associates will be responsible to cleaning and organizing product displays on a routine basis. Cleaning all aspects of the showroom and facilities as directed by the manager.
Product Knowledge: Sales associates need to display competent knowledge of the Catholic faith, Catholic devotions, products and product use.
Merchandising: Sales Associates will be called on by the manager to assist with check-in of inventory, pricing merchandise, filling displays, organizing displays and stock.
Qualifications:
Very good written and verbal communication.
Understanding the use of keyboarding and software including knowledge of GOOGLE, WORD, EXCEL, Mailchimp.
Ability to multi-task.
Previous retail and customer service experience is preferred.
Minimum of a high school diploma. Past instruction.
Active in your Catholic parish.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) both spoken and written word is a plus.
