As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will assist the clinical are looking for you if you: Have a high degree of technical skill in caring for patients in an ophthalmic clinic and feel comfortable interacting positively with physicians, coworkers, patients, and patients? familiesAre adept at making decisions based on established methods, policies, and procedures. Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently as well as function as an integral member of our practice. Prior experience as an ophthalmic technician preferred but not required.
Daily duties include taking patient histories and assessments, making note of findings in patients? charts. Clean and sterilize instruments for procedures. Have the knowledge and skills to use the following equipment: B-Scan,, Tonometer, slit lamp, OCT and Fundus Camera.
