Senior Software Engineer Job Opening in Concord, Massachusetts - Primary Responsibilities
Own major functional areas of the product
Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Design, develop, release and maintain functional subsystems
Solve complex technical problems or investigate the root cause
Serve as in-house expert of big data technologies
Contribute to company software development practices and standards
Fill engineering gaps in product maintenance, release engineering, quality assurance, etc.
Essential Requirements
Comfortable working with Chinese content in Travel industry
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Master's preferred
4+ years of experience in the development and delivery of software products. SaaS experience preferred
Strong experience in multiple development languages. Java, ES5/ES6 and Python preferred
Strong experience in one or more development frameworks. Spring Boot, Spring MVS and NodeJS preferred
Experience with NoSQL databases. MongoDB, Redis and Cassandra preferred
Understanding of messaging architectures and/or enterprise integration patterns. Kafka and Rabbit MQ preferred
Experience in SQL and RDBMS, MySQL preferred
Strong understanding of OO design concepts and patterns
Extensive experience in Linux-like environments, tools and scripting
Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Desirable Skills
Experience with machine learning methodologies, techniques and tools
Experience in data preparation, reporting and analytics tools
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and tools
