Part Time Night Auditor Job Opening in Plymouth, Michigan - Actively seeking a highly motivated, determined, well spoken, part time night auditor for the Comfort Inn in Plymouth, MI.
The Night Auditor is responsible for providing quality guest services that include registration and check-out, PBX operations, mail and message service. The Night Auditor must be accurate with daily accounting procedures.
The essential hospitality standards must be used at all times: eye contact, smile, speak first, engage in polite conversation, use the guest surname!
Job Requirements -
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned:
Reconcile all daily transactions and communicate any discrepancies to FOM/GM
Review arrivals noting special requests, blocking rooms as needed.
Check in and out hotel guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner.
Answer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information.
Complete all items on appropriate checklist by end of shift.
Follow established key control policy.
Ensure proper credit policies are followed.
Knowledgeable of immediate area, services, attractions, and events.
Assist with Concierge services.
Knowledgeable of fire and emergency procedures.
Verify credit limit report.
Monitor room availability throughout the shift.
Performs all other duties as directed by immediate supervisor.
Other Department related duties as become necessary.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Candidate must possess a flexible schedule.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Must be accountable for balancing daily shift bank. Also must maintain organization image by demonstrating quality service at all times.
This position is available immediately.
Rate of pay based on experience - $10-$12 per hour.
Shift schedule: 11pm-7am Saturday and Sunday night.
Must be able to work some holidays.
We also have full time hours available if you are able to work 7 am - 3 pm or 3 pm - 11 pm shifts as well.
