Logistics Analyst Job Opening in Fort Stewart, Georgia - Position Summary
The Logistics Analyst compiles and reviews budgets for Project Manager using actual performance, previous budget figures, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration. Prepares financial plans, monitors implementation of financial policies, prepares regular and special-purpose reports, maintains historical records, analyzes trends, establishes cost rates and personnel forecasts, recommends and interprets budgetary policies and procedures, prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds, and determines rationale for variances between costs and budget. Prepares Certificate of Service for site. Validates Monthly expenditures for voucher submission to the Government.
Minimum Requirements
Ensure that all tasks are performed safely and meet Government/Army standards when applicable.
Three to Five (3-5) years? finance experience working with budgets and costing.
Perform other duties as required to support the mission and contractual requirements.
Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published Company work rules.
Excellent written and oral communications skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to complete and prioritize tasks on multiple concurrent projects within given timeframes.
Work well in a team environment and able to work with a diverse group of people.
Discretion and trustworthiness due to frequent contact with confidential material.
Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and all others in a courteous and professional manner.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
Education and Citizenship Requirements
Preferred : Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration or Finance (or related degree) or five (5) years? experience in finance and accounting.
Required: At least three (3) years? experience in finance and accounting with High School Diploma or GED certificate.
Required : US and residence, with verbal and written fluency in English.
