Job Description : The software engineer/web developer will be responsible for designing and developing various web-based software applications. The software engineer will develop, enhance, and maintain a secure web application utilizing the following technologies:
Linux, Appache, MySQL, PHP
Java & Matlab
A strong background in mathematics, computer science and engineering is required. This position requires the successful candidate to be self-motivated and at times work with little supervision. The ability to interact with other professionals in various sectors is critical.
The essential roles and responsibilities will include:
LAMP stack implementation and maintenance
Implement and maintain Java applications utilizing the Eclipse IDE
Implement and maintain SQL queries for a MySQL database
Assist Senior engineers with Matlab script debugging, implementation and testing
Implement reports utilizing the data that is being processed
Develop and execute appropriate test plans/procedures for all aspects of the application
Minimum Qualifications : Completion of bachelor?s degree in computer science or engineering with 2-7 years experience in web development. This position is considered to be an entry-level position. Qualified applicant must be a US citizen.
