Showroom Manager - Rugs & Furniture Job Opening in los angeles, California - Showroom Manager - Rugs & Furniture We are currently accepting applications for a high-energy, experienced Sales Manager to work in our Agoura Hills, CA showroom. Sales experience in the Rugs and/or Home Furnishings business a big plus. Qualifications: Be team-oriented and work collaboratively to achieve team goals. Ability to communicate and build rapport with a wide range of people. Ability to listen carefully to clients to fulfill their needs. Able to problem solve and provide focused information about merchandise. Willingness and ability to take direction and accept constructive criticism in order to grow and be successful. Ability to mentor and coach staff in a positive, success oriented manner. Demonstrate strong leadership skills in a fast paced retail environment. High School diploma or equivalent. College a plus. Must have a car, valid driver�s license with a clean record. Intermediate level computer skills � Word, Excel, email, web. Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds on a daily basis. Be assertive, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible. Can be trusted to maintain confidentiality and advocate company values. Responsibilities: Present a consistent, professional appearance and image. Sell Rugs, Furniture & Home Accessories. Guide the Sales Team to success as individuals and as a team. Coach and mentor sales staff in all areas of sales, product knowledge, customer service, proper procedures, and, at all times, safe practices. Listen carefully and handle customer questions effectively. Maintain strong, ongoing working relationships with customers, designers, colleagues and managerment. Work as an integral part of a professional team committed to excellence and success. Actively participate in ongoing, industry specific sales training program. Must meet showroom and personal sales goals consistently. WORK HOURS: Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Sunday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Days off are during the week � No weekends off Benefits: Medical & Dental (after 90- days of service) Vacation and a matching 401K benefit package, (both after 1 year of service) Compensation: Compensation is dependent on experience and performance.
