Senior Software Engineer Job Opening in chicago, Illinois - Responsibilities:
Help design, architect, execute the building of applications.
Participate in agile team meetings to plan and estimate stories.
Encourage innovation within the team while experimenting and adopting new technologies.
Work closely with Operations/Infrastructure to improve architecture and scalability.
Participate in various department events to present new trends in technology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
5 years minimum work experience required in software development.
Competent at Java development while utilizing one or more of these technologies: Spring Boot, Spring ? Java, Spring MVC, JPA or similar required.
Front End experience with frameworks like Angular or React required.
Experience with emerging cloud platform technologies such as Cloud Foundry, Openshift , AWS Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google App Engine, Heroku, or other PaaS technologies required.
Extensive experience working with enterprise solution delivery in an XP programming environment or large scale distributed software design environment.
Extensive experience working in an Agile based development environment, using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration, TDD, BDD.
