Rebate Specialist (E-Commerce) Job Opening in Addison, Illinois - The E-Commerce Rebate Specialist assists the E-Commerce department in obtaining revenue, reconciling rebates, and reporting on rebate activity, rebate collections, rebate-related projects, and Electronic Data Interface (EDI) processing for assigned accounts.
This key function contacts customers daily regarding rebates of open accounts balances. This includes corresponding with distribution regarding GPO roster changes, contract start and end dates and modifications to individual pricing. It also entails working with the pricing team and customers to address rebate discrepancies as well as specific questions regarding pricing eligibility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree in Accounting or Business; Bachelor?s degree preferred.
A minimum of 2 years related experience in accounting practices and financial record keeping or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Knowledge and understanding of accounting and auditing principles and practices.
Working knowledge of the EDI system is required.
Working knowledge of contracts and pricing preferred.
Able to work in an ERP system (SAP preferred).
Experience in Collections and Cash Applications a plus but not required.
Able to communicate effectively ? verbal and written.
Intermediate skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Access).
