Remote Bookkeeper Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - Our client, a fast-growing Seattle-based CPA/Bookkeeping firm who serves their clients using QuickBooks Online and other related applications, is looking for a self-directed, QuickBooks Online Certified Bookkeeper to work remotely but lives close enough to come in the office occasionally.

1) Have at least 2 Years experience with QuickBooks Online
2) Be QuickBooks Online Certified OR be willing to get certified prior to hire (this means being listed on the Intuit Certified ProAdvisor site (/find-an-accountant)
3) Live within driving distance of Seattle
4) Be available full-time
Duties include:
Working in QuickBooks Online, doing credit card and bank reconciliations, entering invoices and checks, recording payroll
Must be app savvy, capable of using cloud based applications for transfers to/from clients, create and adjust journal entries
General Ledger cleanup to provide client financial statements to CPA
Sales tax preparation for clients in various industries
Self-manage deadlines
Communicate with clients
Assist with client QuickBooks issues and other support
Receive QBO Advanced Certification within 6 months of employment
Requirements :
MUST be QuickBooks Online Certified
MUST have at least 2 years experience using QBO
MUST be listed on the Intuit Certified ProAdvisor site (/find-an-accountant)
Knowledge of Integrated Apps for QuickBooks Online (/)
Basic proficiency with Excel (create worksheet and import into QBO)
Good computer knowledge - Microsoft office, online applications
Basic accounting knowledge - 2 yr accounting degree or more, or good experience can work
Good at figuring things out independently when needed
Experience working remotely but willing to work from the office occasionally
Excellent communication skills with team and clients
Ability to manage deadlines and multitask multiple clients in various industries
Is a positive, confidant, team player who is excited about taking ownership of client bookkeeping support
