Administrative and Accounting Senior Supervisor Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and negotiate private contracts with vendors and associates.
MOU creation for schools districts, primary care organizations and other agencies working in partnership with Consejo
Create and negotiate business associate agreements
Ensure all agencies passwords are updated on a timely manner
Ensure all corporate records including Washington state corporation, business license, DBHR licenses are renewed and update annually
Implement private insurance billing policies and practices
Ensure the agency established relationship with most private insurance companies
Ensure and monitors clients collection
Provide support for representation of Consejo at meetings with funds, public officials, etc.
Provide Technical support for Administrative staff and Management
Conduct Insurance renewal and management, including making sure all endorsement are collected based on the funders insurance requirements and submitted to them in a timely manner
Agency (DBHR, UBI, SAM, ., Charitable Organization, Property tac exemption, local business license, etc.
Program Registration management
Complete Credentialing Packages and required policies and reports to the Optum BHO and KCBHO
Complete staff credentialing for all manage care companies for agency staff
Special projects (future facility planning, outreach and engagement, etc.)
Monitor Consejo's Electronic Health records and EHR management report
Work in partnership with Consejo's marketing consultants to write agency stories and promote Consejo services
Complete the agency annual report
Improve cash collections
Serve as a backup for all other accounting positions
Ability to complete budget planning
Ability to forecast organizational expenses
Ability to produce timely reports
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Ensure compliance with agency, contractual and regulatory standards.
Perform a variety of general accounting duties, including but not limited to accounts payable, account receivable, ledger and journal entries. Also ensure that month-end procedures, subsidiary ledgers are completed.
Ensure strict confidentiality of administrative and financial records.
Ensure that client statements, data posting of transactions and verification of accuracy for input is done on a timely basis and ensure that statements are printed and mailed to clients on a monthly basis.
Research and respond to client inquiries regarding billing issues and problems.
Record necessary changes for services based on funding sources (i.e. insurance, Title XIX, Medicare, etc)
Work with accounting staff to maintain an average of 5% on denials on all billings, follow up on submitted claims; and monitor unpaid claims.
Receive and receipt cash items and third party reimbursements, post and reconcile payments to client ledgers as directed and work with staff and managers to reconcile budget questions.
Submit reports to the Controller, on a monthly basis, on the status of 90 day-and-older accounts.
Ensure client demographic information and data collection system is maintained.
Actively participate in audit preparation.
Participate in administrative issues, including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, promotions, and firing and layoff decisions.
Maintain accurate account tracking system; prepare invoices, payroll, budget, and financial reports.
Reconcile monthly reports, including bank statements, and GL accounts.
Conduct employee evaluations.
Supervise, train and mentor assigned support staff.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or related field with 3 or more years of accounting experience.
2+ years in a managerial type role
Proficient in Microsoft Office a must
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
