The Position:
The Strategy Execution Manager will manage strategy and score model installation from requirements through post implementation, including coordinating resources, monitoring project progress (risks & issues), test planning, test data preparation, test execution, defect management, preparing and presenting progress reports for management, and collecting, documenting and archiving all required artifacts. Once requirement specification documentation is completed, you will design, code, and test strategies (including rules, cutoffs, policies, operational flows, etc.) that mitigate credit and fraud risk while maximizing profit and asset growth. You will also provide subject matter expertise and reporting related to the improvement of our underwriting and customer servicing processes and infrastructure.
Your success will be measured against your ability to comprehend complex logic at a very detailed level to implement new models and strategies on time and without error. This will involve a technical understanding of the software development end to end lifecycle, strong communication skills and attention to detail, and a high level of credibility with leaders across the company.
What You?ll Do :
Develop and execute to specific, detailed timelines and project plans for installation and validation of strategy and score model changes
Implement and test statistical models for business application (Linear, Logistic Regression, CHAID, Cluster Models, Joint Odds, Gradient Boosting, etc)
Research and identify data to be used based on database metadata
Validate, audit and test the output to ensure that the results meet the desired business intent
Recognize key issues and risks and facilitate resolution, or escalate to senior management
Liaison with Operations for strategy development, implementation and post implementation feedback. Support Operations with adhoc data queries and reporting as needed
Apply experiences with software development and business process flows to develop better processes to be used in the future
Collect and define requirements, translate into functional design, test planning & execution, and develop/maintain supporting documentation
Participate in software and/or systems design/ prototyping, construction and testing of new or enhanced applications and/or systems.
Responsible for finding testing efficiencies using automation, participate in the updating of Automation test suite as changes occur
Ensure comprehensive test coverage exists by understanding the test scope and approach of dependent QA, UAT and Vendor groups
Train full time employees and consultants as needed
What Is Required
5+ years of hands on experience in Quality Assurance, Project Management, Reporting, and/or Strategy capacity in IT or Business environment
3+ years of applied experience using SQL; ability to produce basic reporting
Bachelor?s degree in Business or IT
Ability to work full-time in our Wilmington, DE office
Experience coding strategies and score models in Experian Power Curve or Transact preferred
Experience using Model Central, Carolina, or Automated Model Integration software preferred
Consumer banking/credit card experience is preferred, but not required
