Tax Intern (Seasonal) Job Opening in New York, New york - An American accounting firm looking to recruit tax intern candidate.

Position: Tax Intern
Responsibilities:
Work closely with team members to ensure a thorough completion of each client?s tax return?
Assist the preparer in e-filing the returns
Assist the preparer to make corrections after the audits
Assist in preparation of clients? financial statements, including Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet
Expect to quickly learn and fully utilize all of the systems and softwarenecessary for tracking client status
Qualifications:
Working towards attaining an Associates or Bachelors degree.
Ability to work in a team atmosphere
Experience working with Microsoft Office, strong proficiency in MS Excel
Working knowledge of Quickbooks? Excellent communication skills
Must be comfortable speaking with clients over the phone
Interview for this position will begin October and ends November.
Please note, this is a seasonal position will start approximately December.
