Accountant Job Opening in Mobile, Alabama - This position is in support of the Company?s Finance team. The individual must be willing to work under pressure and take on other finance duties and ad-hoc assignments as assigned by Head of Finance and immediate supervisor to improve work processes for the Company and the Department. The individual should be a self-starter and have a good working knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and/or Accounts Payable accounting best practices and corresponding SAP functionalities. Ability to lead and perform the duties of AP and AR carried out by fellow accounting specialists in the department and provide guidance as required.
Financial/ Profitability Analysis assignments will be assigned, experience is preferred.
Demonstrates competence in attention to detail and accuracy; demonstrates ability to prepare routine reports and maintain specialized files and records.
SAP FICO experience highly preferred. Excellent Excel skills with Pivot Table experience and good Microsoft Work skills required, Microsoft Access preferred.
