Responsibilities
Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving 20%+ annual revenue growth
Manage the sales team, operations, and resources to deliver profitable growth
Develop a plan to hire and train the sales team to find new clients and convert leads into contracts
Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
Find new contacts through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop key relationships
Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team
Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
Experience
5-10+ years experience managing a sales team
5-10+ years experience as a sales leader, developing a sales plan and executing it
Successful experience growing the revenue of a company (20%+ annual growth)
Successful experience closing 6-7 figure deals
Successful experience managing a team of 5-10+ salespeople
Successful experience hiring and onboarding sales representatives
Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers in China is desired.
Experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic opportunities
Successful experience utilizing a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data
Demonstrated ability in all aspects of sales leadership.
Requirements
Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
Knowledge of Google software
Knowledge of or similar CRM software
Excellent skills and ability to build relationships
Have professional working fluency in both Chinese and English
Knowledge of Chinese customs and culture
Computer competency
Travel outside of US will be required more than 25% of the time
Must be self-motivated and driven
US bachelor's or higher degree from accredited university or college
