We are searching for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our Finance Department. The right candidate must enjoy teamwork, accept a wide range of responsibilities, and be open to new challenges.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor inventory levels closely and resolves any issues that may become apparent
Establish appropriate inventory reserves and monitor inventory on-hands to support managements goals related to turnover and margins
Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
Review sales forecast and actual results to assist management in purchasing decisions.
Assist in the monthly preparation of various financial reports, monthly closing and cost accounting reports.
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and comparison of actual results to budgeted amount.
Work with other members of the department in the development and implementation of new software to meet management requirements.
Assist other members of the department/company as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting
3-5 Years Progressive Accounting Experience
Experience with ERP systems especially SAP B1
