Part-time Healthcare Assistant Job Opening in Knoxville, Tennessee - Planned Parenthood of Middle & East Tennessee (PPMET) seeks a part-time Health Care Assistant for our Knoxville Health Center.
General Responsibilities:
Work with health care team to meet established productivity standards.
Assist with all aspects of patient care.
Perform and record routine laboratory tests.
Prepare, organize and maintain patient medical records.
Maintain facilities, equipment and supplies.
Perform reception functions to include telephone, patient scheduling, patient flow and processing mail.
Process collection of patient fees as assigned.
Commitment to quality healthcare and excellent customer service.
Completion of all responsibilities in a timely and professional manner.
Commitment to a client-centered approach to customer care.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Certified Medical Assistant certification required.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer knowledge and typing skills.
