Accounting Operations Manager Job Opening in Tucson, Arizona - The Caliber Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time Accounting & Operations Manager responsible for managing accounting, billing, operations, IT, administration, and human resources, including management of personnel providing support in these areas. Caliber is a brand marketing agency based in Tucson, with 15 employees providing marketing, advertising, creative, public relations, media planning and buying, and digital and social media services.
Job Duties
- Accounting, bookkeeping, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and preparation of company financials (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Budget and Cash Flow Statements)
- Operations, office and administrative management, including IT, reception, supplies, equipment, insurance administration, and building budget, maintenance and repairs
- Human resources, including employee policies, training, record-keeping, healthcare, retirement plan and benefits administration, payroll, and employee events
- Other duties as assigned, to support successful business operations and company performance
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience as a full-charge bookkeeper, billing, employee benefits coordinator & payroll manager
Previous experience supervising employees
Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee or company news
Ability to plan ahead, manage multiple responsibilities, delegate work and meet deadlines
Attention to organization, detail and accuracy
Self-motivated, flexible and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel
Accounting or Finance degree and previous billing experience for an advertising agency, accounting or law firm preferred
Compensation
Full-time, salaried exempt position with compensation commensurate with experience.
