Sales Associate (SEASONAL Part Time) Job Opening in Alexandria, Virginia - The Christmas Attic has been a staple of Old Town Alexandria shopping for over 40 years. This is a fun place to work, but we do work hard!
We are looking for seasonal (now until Christmas), part-time, retail sales associates with immediate availability for evening and weekend shifts. Evening shifts begin between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. and end between 9:30 and 10:00 p.m.
Applicants must:
Have retail experience.
Be cheerful, outgoing, and enthusiastic about customer service.
Ability to adapt to a changing, fast paced environment.
Present a clean, professional appearance.
Be available through Christmas.
Be available at least some portion of Thanksgiving weekend.
This is a very physical job. Applicants must also:
Be able to stand for long periods of time.
Climb several flights of stairs many times a day.
Lift, carry or push boxes weighing up to 25 pounds.
Clean, vacuum, and occasionally use a ladder.
Know how to follow directions.
